Asilomar

Asilomar has been my main go-to destination for cycling, meditation, rest, and for simply enjoying some alone time on a beautiful, quiet beach. There are a number of rocky, sandy coves where one can explore, and view a multitude of sea-creatures. There is a walking trail and marine reserve that leads to Asilomar State Beach, but all along the trail there are sand dunes that already offer plenty of small private beaches where one can relax and listen to the waves as they crash against the rocks and the shore. I’ll miss Asilomar maybe more than the rest of the area when I eventually leave one day.
