Big Sur

Big Sur is located on the Central Coast of California where the Santa Lucia mountains meet the ocean. Millions of visitors visit Big Sur every year. It is famous for the Bixby Creek Bridge, its beaches, redwood forests, and simply for its long stretches of beautifully undeveloped coastline, which makes for an incredibly scenic drive. We visited Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and hiked the Buzzards Roost trail, and also visited Pfeiffer Beach. These photos were taken in September of 2022.
